Hartford Symphony Orchestra Dinner Reception & Performance

Hosted by Harvard Business School Club of CT and Roger Cole, former President of the Harvard Club of Fairfield County

Performing Arts are important cultural elements of our community and we encourage our alumni/alumnae to enjoy them (and support them) here in Connecticut.  We are happy to announce that our first event of 2014 will be part of our "Business & The Arts" series.  Hartford Symphony Orchestra President and CEO Carrie Hammond (MBA '92) has organized a special evening for HBS alumni/alumnae and guests for Saturday January 11, 2014.
The Hartford Symphony Orchestra and the Hartford Stage have joined together to present a new concert staging of Shakespeare’s "A Midsummer Night’s Dream", combining a theatrical performance of Shakespeare’s timeless story with Mendelssohn’s incidental music.  We will have a pre-performance dinner reception hosted by Carrie where she and some of the artistic team will share insights on this production then we will go into the Belding Theatre at the Bushnell for this special joint performance.
The dinner reception begins at 6:00pm and the performance starts at 8:00pm. The price for HBS alumni/alumnae and guests is $85.00 per person (wine and beer is included for the dinner reception).  Alumni /alumnae are encouraged to invite friends and family.  Tickets for the performance will be distributed at the dinner reception. For more information visit the event page on our website by clicking here
