Join us for a day at the Wadsworth!
Saturday, October 24, 2026 11:00AM
600 Main Street, Hartford CT
We’re pleased to invite the members and guests of the Harvard Club of Southern Connecticut to a special fall outing at one of America’s finest art museums, the Wadsworth, at 600 Main Street in Hartford!
Founded in 1842, the Wadsworth was the site of Picasso’s first museum show in America. It has an encyclopedic collection of over 50,000 artworks of all kinds, from Italian Renaissance paintings to Native American pottery.
On Saturday, October 24, 2026, we will begin with a guided tour at 11:00 AM. Following the tour, the group will gather for lunch at 12:15 PM, with time to visit and enjoy the museum’s collections afterward. Parking is available on the street (free on weekends) or in nearby garages.
This special event has been coordinated by our longtime board member, Emilie de Brigard, who also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Wadsworth. We are grateful to Emilie for helping make this opportunity possible!
Come to Hartford and discover a century of connection between Harvard and the Wadsworth. Please join fellow Harvard alumni, family, and friends for an engaging day of art, conversation, and community!
